We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice. We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
As a dental hygienist, the most important aspects of my job include educating patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of good nutrition, and providing cleanings and periodontal therapy to prevent future problems. The people I meet and treat make every day special. From the youngest to the oldest, it is a pleasure to help them achieve and maintain a healthy smile. Dr. Maloney is dedicated to providing excellent care and treatment to his patients. Our entire staff is focused on patient-centered care. My husband, Bob, and I have two adult children, Rob and Loren. We recently welcomed Rob’s wife, Colleen, into the family. Bob and I enjoy family and friend get-togethers, home improvement projects, and traveling.
Whether I’m meeting a new patient or checking up on a patient I’ve seen for years, I enjoy building and cultivating a relationship based on mutual trust and respect. I’ve gotten to know so many families over the 20 years I’ve been with Maloney Dental, and I consider many of them to be my friends. I feel very fortunate to work with a dentist whose clinical skills are only outshone by his outstanding personality. My husband and I have been married for 34 years. We have three grown children, one grandson, and two dogs. I enjoy spending as much time with all of them as possible. In my spare time, I enjoy relaxing at the family lake house.
I graduated from Indiana University’s dental hygiene program 1987, and found my place at Maloney Dental in 2002. I work with patients on a one-on-one basis to improve and maintain their oral health through cleanings, periodontal treatments, and education. I treasure all the relationships I’ve built with my patients and my teammates over the years. I am married and have two daughters. When I am not working or being with my family, I enjoy teaching second grade Sunday school at my church and spending time with my golden retriever.
Dental Assistant/Front Desk
My favorite part of being an assistant is getting to work so closely with our patients. We have the greatest patients and it is very rewarding to me to get to know them and help them be as comfortable as possible in our office. I love working with Dr. Maloney because he is an excellent dentist and I have learned, and continue learning, so much from him. He is fantastic with our patients and makes everyone feel very welcome and appreciated. When I am not at work my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family and my dog, Cooper.
For over 17 years, I’ve had the pleasure of welcoming patients into the office and helping with all their appointment scheduling, treatment planning, billing, and insurance needs. I feel so proud to work for someone who is held in such high regard by his patients. Dr. Maloney has a positive attitude and gentle manner that puts him head and shoulders above any doctor I have ever encountered. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, reading, and gardening. My husband, Dennis, and I have been married for 36 years. We have two children and two grandchildren with whom we love spending time!
My major objective is to support Dr. Maloney during clinical procedures. I attend to patient comfort and discuss the planned treatment, prepare the operatory with instruments and materials, assist during the procedure, take any necessary X-rays or impressions, and sterilize and maintain dental instruments. Dr. Maloney is a consummate professional. He creates an environment for his staff to work together to provide the best care for his patients. In my free time, I enjoy working out, mainly focusing on running and cycling. I also enjoy concerts and theatre, but am happiest when spending time with my six children and three grandchildren.
I received my certificate in Dental Assisting from Everest College in 2013 and joined Dr. Maloney’s team in 2017. As one of his dental assistants, I seat patients and make sure they are comfortable, take impressions and X-rays, and assist Dr. Maloney at chairside. I get no greater satisfaction than knowing I’ve helped improve someone’s smile. Being able to touch each patient’s life in a positive way is what drives me to do the best job I possibly can. Our team is delightful and refreshing, and works together to ensure the best care is given to our patients. In my free time, I love to workout, hike, and spend time with Alex, my husband of ten years, my two children, and my two dogs.
